I recently bought an Irish Rovers album, which has rekindled my enjoyment of their songs as well as the entire genre. Here are a few songs for your enjoyment:
This past Friday I took Bella and Gilli to see the SUNY Fredonia Department of Theatre and Dance’s production of Charlotte’s Web. It was a great show and the girls had a blast!
Bella found many of the antics hilarious. Both girls liked Templeton the rat as their favorite animal. I was surprised that both girls found the humorous parts outweighed the sad parts, as there were no tears shed at the end like I was expecting. It was a very enjoyable show and I’m glad I had the chance to take them. After the show they had a chance to meet the cast. They came very close to meeting Templeton, but in the end decided that seeing him up close was enough and talking to the large rat was more than they wanted to tackle that night.

We carved our pumpkins tonight. ![]()
I started a set for Halloween on Flickr.
Isabella carved her pumpkin almost entirely on her own. I helped her with the “zigzag” mouth. She actually did 3 designs on her pumpkin, the face, a witch on one side, and she started to carve Beware on the other side, but words are really hard to carve. Her pumpkin is the one on the bottom in the picture below.
Gillian carved most of her pumpkin by herself as well. I helped with one part of the mouth and Karen helped with the owl nose (cookie cutter). Her pumpkin is the one at the top in the picture below.
Erin and Karen carved the second to the bottom pumpkin. There is a mouth, I’m not sure why it didn’t show in the picture.
Karen carved the middle pumpkin using cookie cutters, a cat, a bat, and a witch’s hat.
I carved the pumpkin the second from the top. I finally figured out how to get the eyes that way.

Erin turned 2 today!
I can’t believe it really. 2?!? What a beautiful and sweet and fun kid she is!
Here is the set of pictures and video I uploaded.
In another show of how out of touch the teabaggers are, they actually targeted the Buffalo News as being too liberal. If you’ve ever read the Buffalo News you would know they are mostly conservative, heavily anti-union, and anything but liberal.
