Kirsten Gillibrand will replace Hillary Clinton as the junior Senator from New York.

Joseph Bruno charged with corruption.

Although I would have preferred Brian Higgins as the Senate choice, and I don’t understand how a Democrat can support the NRA, I hope that Gillibrand will represent New York well. It would seem that in addition to guns she also supports education so I can only hope she supports the latter more than the former.

As for Bruno, who would have thought that someone involved in Albany politics for over a decade would be involved in corruption? Never saw that one coming. ;)
