Reduced mileage

One of the side effects of having the car run idle for longer periods of time is a reduced gas mileage. Since we have had so much snow my car has been running while I clear the snow and ice off. As a result the last time I filled up I only got 16.8 miles per gallon. Oh well. Gas was $1.89/gallon by the way.
