Come into the light

I don’t know why the person who designed the building I work in hated natural light, but there are almost no windows on the second floor at all and there are only a few public windows, the rest being in offices. In fact one side of the second floor doesn’t have any windows at all. How messed up is that? Of course I have an interior office, so I wouldn’t have a window anyway, but it gives the depressing feel of working in a cave or something. However, they recently replaced the very dim bulbs with new energy efficient bulbs that actually illuminate the halls! :D

So while I still don’t see natural light much during the day, at least I no longer work in a dark dungeon! :D

Tuesday Tunes

One of the things about going to college so close to Canada was hearing new music from our neighbor to the North. I first heard Moxy Fruvous during my freshman year. Little did I know it was what turned out to be a pretty hard to find demo tape that I heard, which makes it all the more disappointing that I don’t have a copy. What is even more surprising is that the intertubes have failed in providing much in the way of nostalgic music of the Fruvous variety.

Here is a video someone put together for the Gulf War Song:

I couldn’t even find a video with the original Drinking Song, so here is someone covering it:

This is a fun video that someone put together with footage from That 70′s Show to The King of Spain:

And a video with the hard to find song Green Eggs and Ham:
