Why are we so eager to hand over billions of no-strings-attached bailout money to Wall St. but we think helping the auto industry is a bad idea? I heard one news commentary saying how the auto-workers were over paid at $24.50 an hour. Assuming a 40 hour work-week that comes to $50,960 a year before taxes. That isn’t an excorberant salary. In fact it’s not even a living wage in some areas. So why the resistance. If we can bailout the crooks on Wall St. we can surely bailout the workers of America.

O.J. Simpson sentanced to at least 15 years in prison for robbery (via).

I remember when the verdict went out and he literally got away with murder. I was a student in college and everyone was all happy in their PC jubilation that the Juice is Loose. The feeling among many students was that he was guilty but it was great to see a black man go free. I’m sure there are still people who thought he was completely innocent too, but it really seemed to me more that people felt he was guilty but were glad to see him go free. WTF? Whatever, fast-forward 13 years and it seems that karma has caught up with OJ.
