Happy St. Patrick’s Day

Today is St. Patrick’s Day, unless you caught the announcement from the Catholic Church which moved it to the 15th because of Holy Week. The one thing I have never understood about this holiday is how is it appropriate to “celebrate” a derogatory ethnic stereotype?

At any rate, if you’d like more info about St. Patrick the BBC has a nice bit about him here.

For some entertainment, my friend Russell does a podcast called the Pub Crawl featuring the “Best in Irish Rock and Traditional Music”. Take a listen, it’s a great show!

That does seem to be the way it looks. I had heard about it being switched and that was the first article I found about it that seemed to be from an “official” source.
