Something that is often glossed over in the coverage I’ve been following for the election is that the popular vote doesn’t really mean anything. The number of delegates and super-delegates won is what will decide who is the final candidate for President. The best online counter I have found so far for watching this is CNN’s Election Center.

At the moment it looks like both Clinton and McCain have a comfortable lead over their respective opponents. Of course it is not over yet.
