No Santa!
We took the girls to Chestnut Ridge Park to see Santa today. Gillian got as far as being next to Santa before she started crying and said, “No Santa!” Bella refused to even go near him. They did get their faces painted and did some coloring and had a fun time. More pictures on my Flickr site.

I suspect that even kids can detect the disingenuous nature of a man in an obvious disguise. If parents really want to teach their kids to avoid potentially dangerous strangers, they should also be teaching them to avoid people in disguise! Plus, it’s not the real Santa (Everyone knows the real Santa is owned by the Rand corporation (I’ve said too much already!)).
