Commander in Chief is on again! No wonder I never see this show, they keep changing the day and time it is on…. grrr… Back to watching… ![]()
going crazy with work and such. on top of it all our camera died on Mother’s day. That means all the pictures I planned on taking with my lab renovations at work and the conference I am going to next week won’t happen. Pretty disappointing. The repair costs will roughly equal the cost of replacement with the upgrade program offered by the company, so I’ll just upgrade when I have the dinero. Here’s one of the last pictures I took with my old A60. And yes, we were doing an egg hunt on Mother’s day since we spent Easter with my mom, we did an egg hunt when we saw Karen’s mom for Mother’s Day.
I spent a little time customizing my install of Mozilla’s Firefox browser. I thought I’d tell you a little about what themes and extensions I added and why.
Theme:
BlackJapan 1.15 : A nice theme, very slick, very black.
Extensions:
IE Tab 1.0.9 : Let’s you open webpages in an ‘Internet Explorer’ tab within Firefox. No need to open IE seperately anymore!
Web Developer 1.0.2 : A must if you write web pages.
Forecastfox 0.9.0.1 : ooh, weather in my toolbar…
Tabbrowser Preferences 1.2.8.9 : Configures your tab preferences. If you use tabs, get this extension.
Firefox Showcase 0.5.8.2 : This is awesome. If you have multipple tabs open, pressing F12 will open a window with a preview of all of your tabs.
Google Toolbar : It’s a toolbar and it’s from Google. Lots of useful extra’s, I like the ability to highlight search terms.
Here’s a screenshot:
The fact that congress is even considering doing away with Network Neutrality disgusts me. It would be like removing the First Ammendment from the Constitution. Everyone should get involved with stopping corporations from killing the internet as we know it.
