The democratic responce to the state of the union was worth staying up for, but W didn’t really say anything new during his speech last night. The only part I enjoyed was the standing-o that the democrats gave themselves for blocking his rape of social security. I wonder if he really believes the things he says. It seems very naive if he does. So sad, really.
I was fairly impressed with the democratic responce on the other hand. It was well done and to the point. Plus it is hopefull to see a democrat win in a red state. Maybe the rest of the country will wake up soon…
