A digital life

I admit that I am a techno-geek. I fully embrace the digital life, moreso at work than at home, but since I work in IT that seems fitting. At work we’ve recently implemented a few new services that have moved me to a more streamlined digital existance. We now have personal storage space on a server and MS Exchange. This coupled with my wirelss tablet and OneNote have enabled me to keep my entire professional life easily accessible from just about anyplace I am. It really makes things so much more organized for me as well. My specific set-up is as follows:
On my tablet (a Toshiba Tecra convertible) I have MS OneNote installed. I pointed OneNote to store its files to my server storage drive. So no matter what computer I go to I have access to all of my notes. Very excellent. OneNote is actually a really powerfull program. It has pretty decent handwriting recognition, as well as letting me take notes in freehand. it has the ability to send items to Excahnge as Tasks, which I have been doing at just about every meeting I attend. I also have Outlook 2003 to access my Exchange email/schedule/task-list. These 2 programs contain just about every piece of information I need to have about my day to day operations when I am at work. The only downfall is I feel fairly out of place, since I am the only one organized as such. I feel like a geek among geeks. Kind of amusing really.
